Pertamina has already fulfilled avtur demands for Hajj departure this year

News24xx.com - The departure of the first kloter of pilgrims to the Indonesian territory is from the embarkation of Juanda Airport Surabaya and Lombok International Airport. Departures are due today, Tuesday, July 17th, 2018.

For Juanda airport will dispatch 3 kloters of pilgrim and Lombok International Airport will dispatch 10 kloters of pilgrim.

The first departure of this year's Hajj pilgrimage is planned to depart on July 17th, 2018, both from Surabaya and Lombok. Departure through Juanda Airport using Boeing-747 type aircraft, with estimated Avtur consumption of 100 KL/flight.

While from Lombok International Airport (BIL) also use Boeing-747 type aircraft, with estimated consumption of Avtur as much as 125 KL/flight.

PT Pertamina, through Marketing Operation Region V mentioned that all Avtur needs for Hajj flight in 2018 through Juanda Airport Surabaya and Lombok International Airport (BIL) has been fulfilled completely.

"This year will be dispatched as many as 93 kloters of Haj flights from Surabaya and Lombok and there is an increase in Avtur consumption" said Rifky Rakhman Yusuf, Manager Communication & CSR Unit Pertamina MOR V.

Hajj departure through Lombok International Airport increased Avtur consumption by 51.79 percent or increased by 853 KL compared to last year because the consumption of one hajj departure phase from Lombok this year did not transit at Minangkabau Airport like the previous year.

While at Juanda Airport Avtur consumption only rose 1.06 percent or only 174 KL compared with haj flight in 2017.

"Pertamina will ensure Avtur availability to optimize the timing of charging to the aircraft" Rifky continued through its release on Monday, July 16th 2018.
