Samsung will release devices for 5G network on time

Reporting from ZDNet, The Presiden of Business Network Samsung, Youngky Kim said at a press conference that the company immediately launched a 5G device to secure a 20 percent share of the global 5G device market.

In addition, they are also targeting to pocket 80 percent of profits from abroad. Kim also said that the new service will flood the 5G era, which makes security even more important.

Kim said Samsung provides the most secure platform security services. The comments reflect the current security issues that arise in the United States and Australia as to whether to use China Huawei's vendor tool for the 5G network.

Huawei holds 28 percent of the global network equipment market, followed by Ericsson 27 percent and Nokia 23 percent, according to IHS Markit. ZTE is in fourth place with 13 percent, while Samsung is fifth with 3 percent.

Samsung competed with Huawei by persuading South Korean telecom companies to win their orders in 5G equipment, which will be decided in September.

The 5G network trial is expected to begin in December, with an official launch planned for March 2019. Samsung has exhibited a 3.5GHz spectrum radio station, based on 3GPP 5G standards fixed in June, said to be the smallest in the world.
