Susi Pudjiastuti has been drowning more than 350 foreign ships since becoming a minister

News24xx.com - Minister of Marine and Fisheries Affairs of Indonesia, Susi Pudjiastuti continues to drown foreign ships that take fish in Indonesian waters. Counting for four years since becoming a minister, Susi has drowned more than 300 foreign ships that indicated had been doing illegal fishing.

"Illegal fishing is still a problem that needs to be resolved until now there are 363 foreign ships that we drown" said Susi when declaring the organization Pandu Laut Nusantara, in the area of ??car free day (CFD), in Jakarta, Sunday, July 15th 2018.

Susi added that the current problem of illegal fishing is still haunting the marine sector of Indonesia. Therefore, Susi asked the participation of the community to continue to preserve the Indonesian waters.

On the other hand, Susi also regrets the number of domestic fishermen who use explosives to get fish. He also asked the fishermen to stop doing it.

"There are still a lot of fishermen using dynamite take ornamental fish, even worse use the potassium which one gram can damage the sea area of ??six square meters. There are also fishermen carrying 10 liter potassium that can damage 60,000 square meters" said Susi.
