News24xx.com - Cigarettes have often been linked to a variety of serious health conditions. According to experts there are many dangerous components in cigarette and the World Health Organization (WHO) itself records every year there are more than seven million people die from smoking.

However, it seems that it still cannot convince smokers. A recent survey by Georgia State University researchers saw those who used more than one tobacco product would be 60 percent more likely to think nicotine in cigarettes is harmless to children.

Researchers know that after asking about 12 thousand adults in the United States (US) to fill out the questionnaire. In fact nicotine intoxication is the obvious thing marked by abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, changes in blood pressure, convulsions that can cause death.

Study leader, Catherine Kemp said the survey results indicate that public education efforts are still needed. "It's important for all adults to understand, not just for those who have only children or smokers, that nicotine is a dangerous substance especially for children" Catherine said as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday, July 19th 2018.

Furthermore, researchers see that the level of education can also affect the view of a person related to the dangers of smoking. Adults with a high school diploma will be twice as likely to think that nicotine is less harmful than adults with a college degree. Meanwhile, people who do not finish school will be three times more likely to think that nicotine is less harmful than those in college.
