1. Hajj Tamattu

Haji Tamattu is prioritizing Umrah from Hajj. Namely using ihram from miqat with the intention of Umrah during Hajj season, after tahallul, wearing ihram again with the intention of Hajj on Tarawiah day (8th Zulhijah). For those who perform the Hajj Tamattu 'is required to pay dam.

2. Hajj Qiran

Hajj Qiran is hajj and umrah performed simultaneously. Namely using ihram with the intention of Umrah and Hajj at the same time.

3. Hajj Ifrad

Hajj Ifrad is a process of performing separate Hajj between Hajj and Umrah. In the ritual of Hajj Hadrad, ie performing the hajj first and then continued with the Umrah.

According to Imam An-Nawawi, a person who only pronounces the intention of Hajj without uttering in his heart, ihram is not valid.

On the contrary, the person who does not pronounce the intention, but utter it in his heart, the ihram is still valid, because in essence the intention is in the heart.
