News24xx.com - Air strikes in southern Syria have killed at least seven civilians. It is not known who carried out the air strikes.

The air strikes took place in Quneitra province, Syria which bordering with the Golan Heights occupied by Israel. President Bashar al-Assad's regime forces have been attacking that province since Sunday, July 15th 2018 in an effort to reclaim the province from the rebels.

The onslaught was waged after Syrian regime forces regained most of Daraa province in less than a month. "Six civilians including two women and three children were killed in air strikes near Ain al-Tina on the Quneitra border with Daraa province" Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told AFP news agency, Tuesday, July 17th 2018.

Observatory states, not yet known whether the air strikes were conducted by the Syrian regime or its ally, Russia.

Meanwhile in the Daraa province which the neighbor of Quneitra, air strikes killed a civilian near the village of Al-Aliya. According to the Observatory, the air strikes were carried out by Russian fighter planes. "Since Tuesday morning, aerial attacks by Russian have been targeted a region that confines Quneitra and Daraa" said the head of the Observatory, Rami Abdel Rahman.
