Famous plastic surgeon runs away after his patient dead after conducted surgery in his house

News24xx.com - A famous plastic surgeon in Brazil fled after the death of a patient after undergoing plastic surgery at his home in Rio de Janeiro.

The man known as Dr. Bumbum was considered be able to beautify the female body shape, especially in the buttocks. The man whose real name is Denis Furtado is known throughout Brazil for his abilities. Instagram account 45-year-old man even has 650 thousand followers.

Currently, Furtado is hunted by the Brazilian police after the death of a patient named Lilian Quezia Calixto. This woman died hours after undergoing a surgery procedure at the man's home in the Barra de Tijuca area. Calixto is willing to travel as far as 2 thousand miles from her home in Cuiaba to meet the famous plastic surgeon.

As reported by the AFP news agency on Wednesday, July 18th 2018, after receiving a controversial acrylic glass filler injection, Calixto began to feel sick. Arriving at the hospital on Sunday, July 15th 2018 local time, the woman experienced rapid heartbeat and hypertension, and after four heart attacks, she died.

Shortly after, Furtado disappeared and now being hunted by police for alleged murder and criminal cases. While his girlfriend, whom some media referred to as his assistant, has been arrested by police.

This news has stunned the country's plastic surgery industry - Brazil is second only to the United States as the country with the most plastic surgery.

The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBPC) immediately condemned Furtado for the incident. "You cannot do plastic surgery in an apartment, many people sell dreams, fantasies to patients in unethical ways and people, often attracted to low prices, regardless of whether the conditions are adequate or not," said the chairman of SBPC Niveo Steffen told AFP.
