To increase the number of tourist, UAE government enacted free visa for child tourist under 18 year-old

News24xx.com - The cost of traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi is now increasing steadily, especially after there are additional visa-free services for tourists under the age of 18. The main requirement of a child's tourists must come with their parents and registered in an official certificate.

This visa-free service is valid from July 15th to September 15th, 2018, as quoted from Condé Nast Traveler.

The UAE government enacted this new service in order to increase the number of tourists, especially those who coming with families, to this country. Tourists who come with families are considered to spend more money than other tourists.

If the child tourists are visa-free, UAE areas such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi are still applying visas to Indonesian tourists with durations ranging from 96 hours to multi-entry 90 days.

For 96 hours, or for transit travelers, visa processing fee IDR 981 thousand per person. While for 90 days multi-entry is IDR 6, 9 million per person. The efforts of the UAE government to increase the number of tourists to the region is somewhat ambitious.

In June, they enforced transit visa-free for passengers from airports in Dubai or Abu Dhabi for 48 hours. So for two days transit there tourists can feel the atmosphere without having to pay the visa fee. The rest if you want to visit longer you have to take 96-hour transit visa.

In early July the UAE government also enforced visa-free for 90 days for 180 days duration for holders of Russian passports.
