News24xx.com - Intel announced its plans to expand its Research and Development Center in India with a sophisticated hub and will be located in Bengaluru.

Previously, Intel also already has the largest Research and Development facility outside the United States in India.

Since December 1999, Intel has already invested about USD 4.5 billion in India.

And for this, Intel's newest facility will allocate a Fund of USD 178 million or about IDR 2.3 trillion, which will be used to build a smart and green building, energy-saving and will use the internet of things as the core of the building.

"Intel India had a very strategic role in Intel's growth, with contributions at Intel technology are significant," said GM IntelIndia, Nivruti Rai, as reported by Venture Beat on Thursday, June 15 2017.

This building will be located on the campus of Intel in Sarjapur Ring Road located in the city of Karnataka. The building will have extensive 620 thousand square foot, and will be used to design and verify our chip.

But the most interesting thing of course, Intel promises to use renewable energy in the building, as well as the application of smart building technology, to ensure that no energy is wasted when no one in the building.
