Hotspot increasing rapidly in Riau, Rohil contributes the most of the hotspot

As stated by the Head of Information Section of BMKG Stasiun Pekanbaru, Marzuki. "There are 169 hotspots on the island of Sumatra with a confidence level above 50 percent, the most contributedone is Riau with 90 points. Then North Sumatra 22 points, West Sumatra 10 points, Jambi 4 points, Babel 27 points, South Sumatra 13 points, and Lampung 3 points" he said.

Riau Hotspot as many as 90 points are spread the most in Rokan Hilir (Rohil) 58 points. Then Bengkalis 15 points, Dumai 4 points, Siak 4 points, Kampar 4 points, Inhil 2 points, Inhu 2 points" said Marzuki.

While the chance of rain in Riau is minimun. "The chance of rain during the day and night in Riau is minimal. The weather in general is cloudy" he said.

While the air temperature at midday can reach a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius. With air humidity 40 - 97 percent and wind comes from Southeast to Southwest with the speed of 09 - 27 km/hour.
