APPBI and ASPERAPI cooperate together to promote MSME and Riau tourism

News24xx.com - The meeting of the two sides became a good start to improve image of Riau Province in terms of food, fashion, craft, and art. This is done in accordance with the common desire supported by the Ministry of Tourism.

The cooperation between the two parties is increasingly tied to the signing of the MoU between Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) of DPD Riau and Indonesian Castings Company Association (ASPERAPI) of DPD Riau.

Chairperson of APPBI of DPD Riau, Megawati, in her remarks stated that the implementation of this collaboration could increase tourism in Riau Province. "Today is a happy day for APPBI and ASPERAPI. Because signing of MoU is a good start to increase Riau tourism in terms of food, fashion, arts and crafts. This opens opportunities for small businesses in Riau to can attend large shopping centers" Megawati said.

She stated that there are 10 shopping centers incorporated in APPBI's Riau DPD, namely Pekanbaru Mall, Arengka Commercial Center (SKA), Ciputra Mal Seraya, Sadira Plaza, Senapelan Plaza, Plaza Citra, The Central, Metropolitan City (MTC), Plaza Sukaramai, and Mandau City. Then still in the process that will join is Living World.

"With this collaboration the hope is that ASPERAPI can channel APPBI's wishes in accordance with the theme, and provide information to the people of Riau and Pekanbaru in accordance with the wonderful harmony of Riau the Homeland of Malay" Megawati said.

"UMKM actors of food, fashion, craft, and art production in Riau and Pekanbaru can be collaborated with ASPERAPI by appearing in exhibitions in each shopping center that is part of APPBI"

"That way the ummah products can be channeled and better known to the community. And of course this can also encourage the progress of Riau tourism. Hopefully and our shared hopes can all be channeled well" he continued.

On the other hand, Chairman of ASPAPI of DPD Riau, Ahmad Fadli, expressed his pleasure with this collaboration. "ASPERAPI is very pleased to be present together with APPBI for the advancement of Riau Province in the field of tourism" said Fadli.

"ASPERAPI not only manages in the exhibition, but also has continued to be present in Riau for tourism development and MSME development" he continued.

"This is not the first time ASPERAPI has collaborated with APPBI. But in this year we have the same goals and objectives, namely in terms of increasing tourism and rural areas" said Fadli.

"Hopefully with this collaboration, about Riau, tourism, MSME, Riau homeland can be raised together. And of course we cannot be separated from the media who continue to be with us to advance Riau" he added.

Fadli also invited all vendors to actively introduce Riau tourism and raise local works in terms of their use.

"And it is also hoped that with this collaboration, we can all remind each other of problems or that will cause problems" he hoped.

Fadli said that up to now there are as many as 60 small business players who have been willing to take part in the activities that will take place in the near future. And ASPERAPI still continues to open up opportunities for registration for local people and business people who want to attend appear together.

Chairperson of APPBI of DPD Riau also revealed that this event was a national event titled culture. The event that will be held in cooperation with MSME in Riau is expected to provide positive things for Riau by being present in existing malls and shopping centers.

Megawati also mentioned that the event will be presented in turns at each mall and shopping center, ie from September 27th to October 27th 2018. And each mall will come with different themes.
