News24xx.com - A comprehensive report of one grand jury found a credible report of more than 300 priests had harassed children and managed to identify more than 1,000 victims of sexual abuse covered by the Pennsylvania Catholic Church, USA.

It is unclear how many new cases can be brought to trial after the report is called the most comprehensive investigation of child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church which covers almost all dioceses in this state.

The report found testimonies from dozens of witnesses and 1.5 million pages of internal church documents containing credible allegations against 300 pastors of child sexual abuse. In addition there were more than 1,000 victims identified.

The grand jury is a group of judges formed to investigate one particular charge before the trial of the case in the United States judicial system.

The jury estimates that the number of victims actually reached "thousands," because many documentary records of children were lost or they were afraid of complaining about abuse. As a result of the decision of Catholic Church to cover up this scandal, almost all acts of sexual harassment took place too long to be trial.

However, this report refers to at least two pastors who sexually abused children in the past decade. Some of the victims were boys and were undergoing puberty, some of them were tarnished by the induction of alcoholic beverages or pornographic material.
