News24xx.com -  Hijabs in Iran have been compulsory for the last 40 years. Iranian law dictates that woman must cover their heads in public. There have been several recent incidents where women were attacked for not wearing their hijab to the standards deemed proper.

Like the story of a Muslim woman that appears to challenge a cleric in Iran who ordered her to dress more modestly despite the fact already she’s wearing a veil.

Angry, she ends up ripping the veil off her head in anger after the cleric threatened to have her arrested.

The cleric  told her, "Fix your hijab or I’ll get you arrested".

The video was uploaded by Facebook group My Stealthy Freedom and has since been spread online by various dissident groups. There is a growing movement of people in Iran who oppose the laws that make it mandatory for women to wear veils. Online movement My Stealthy Freedom started the White Wednesday campaign in May last year which encouraged men and women to wear white to show their solidarity.

But, now, the woman could face jail for what she did.

Journalist and campaigner My Stealthy Freedom, Masih Alinejad said, "This brave woman challenges a cleric in front of him. The cleric tells her that she’d get arrested because her hijab is not appropriate."

In June this year, a woman also was filmed defying morality police in Iran after she was told to put on a veil.
