Tom Cruise will star in the movie of Green Lantern

News24xx.com - Tom Cruise will star in the new film Green Lantern Corps produced by Warner Bros and DC Comics. He is taking the main role, just like Ryan Reynolds played the main character in the previous film Green Lantern (2011).

The news was first announced in Crazy Days and Nights. On March, the site told that the producer was searching for a big star for the film Green Lantern Corps.

As cited from NME, Cruise will join the film project with one condition. He wants the scene where Green Lantern dies to be erased.

Cruise’s friend, Christopher McQuarrie who wrote and directed Mission: Impossible and Jack Reacher is said to be involved in this film project.

Green Lantern Corps is scheduled to be released in 2020.
