A heroic policeman saved a toddler’s life after rescuing her from inside of a hot car

News24xx.com -  A toddler, the three-year-old girl have been left strapped into her car seat after her mother had gone to the shop to buy alcohol in Florida.

But fortunately, a heroic policeman named  Bill Dunn saved her life after rescuing her from a boiling hot car she had allegedly been locked in overnight.  

The girl’s mother, 33-year-old Casey Keller, had driven to an off-licence to buy alcohol the day before. But Keller allegdly forgot to take her daughter out of the car when they returned home, and leaving her in the car overnight where temperatures can top 33C during the day. 


Dramatic footage shows when Seminole County Deputy Bill Dunn run with the girl in his arms as he desperately tries to save her life. He turns the air conditioning on in an attempt to revive the child, because he feared that she was dead.


Then, the heroic officer notices the girl’s eyelids fluttering and rushed to the hospital. In hospital, he waited for hours to find out if she would be OK.


After got treatment in hospital for three days, the girl met up with her rescuer after her release from hospital.

Her mum, Keller has been charged with child neglect with great bodily harm and is being held in the John E Polk Correctional Facility on USD 15,000 bail.
