Weird disorder, a tail appears to grow in this woman's bottom

News24xx.com - An English woman named Taylor came to the clinic to get rid off the tail that somehow grows on her bottom. This process is documented by international TV station TLC.

To the doctor, Taylor explained that she had had a bump that looks like tail on her rear end since she was born. The tail grew and became bigger as she grew up into teenager.

Before this, the tail had been removed once in 2016. At that time, it was diagnosed as lipoma. However, not long after that, the tail grew back at the same place.

Lipoma usually does not need big steps like surgery. However, lipoma can still be removed with if deemed dangerous.

In Taylor’s case, the lipoma affects her confidence in socializing with others. Her hope lifts up when she meets Dr. Sandra Lee.

“There are two warning. First, why did it come back after being removed? And second, lipoma usually does not appear since birth. Someone will get it from time to time. Maybe there is something else happening,” Dr. Lee said.

Taylor then underwent MRI scan. The result showed that she had fat deposit in the marrow of the backbone.

“Removing lipoma with any way can potentially disturb the growth inside the marrow of the backbone and I do not want that to happen,” she said. Lee said that the stitch to remove the bump on Taylor’s rear was done 2 to 3 times.

“I am happy with the result. After my surgery with Dr. Lee, I feel more confident,” Taylor said. In an interview, Taylor and her parents said that they decided to meet a neurosurgeon to find a way whether lipoma can be removed permanently or not.
