Number of hotspot decreasing in Riau, with Rohil still as the highest contribution of hotspot in Riau

As stated by the Head of Information Section of BMKG Stasiun Pekanbaru, Marzuki. "Sumatra Hotspots with a confidence level above 50 percent are 61 points. Spread in Riau 8 points, Jambi 19 points, Bengkulu 1 point, Babel 12 points, Lampung 3 points, Kepri 2 points, and South Sumatra 16 points" said Marzuki.

The highest Hotspot concentration in Riau comes from Rokan Hilir (Rohil) as many as 7 points and Pelalawan 1 point. "It's just that Riau's hotspot level of confidence above 70 percent is only 5 points in Rohil" he said.

Even so the visibility in Pekanbaru is still normal 7 kilometers, Dumai 6 kilometers, Inhu 6 kilometers, and Pelalawan 5 kilometers. While the air temperature is not blazing a maximum of 32.5 degrees Celsius.
