Jokowi called offering a chair of minister to Gerindra Party

News24xx.com -  Gerindra Party assesses the reasonable wishes of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who hopes that the Democratic Party (PD) and PAN can immediately join. Because, from the information obtained, Jokowi wants to strengthen his coalition in parliament.

"We heard some time ago that the Jokowi government wanted to increase the coalition in parliament by around 80 percent. They hoped the Democrats and PANs would join them," said Gerindra Party Communication Agency member, Andre Rosiade to reporters on Thursday, June 6 2019.

Andre invited if indeed the coalition parties during the 2019 presidential election wanted to join with the Jokowi coalition. Because, this is the right of every party. His party, he said, was reluctant to interfere.

"But once again it is their right. We did not comment on other party households. But the signals certainly were seen, "he said.

"If PAN and PD want to join,, that's their right. We don't want to obstruct. It's their choice. Every choice certainly has consequences," added Andre.

The spokesperson for Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno team also claimed that the same offer had also been submitted to his party. Jokowi, said Andre, even offered a ministerial seat to the Gerindra Party.

However, Andre said that now his party was focusing for the Presidential Election lawsuit filed at the Constitutional Court some time ago.
