Prince Phillip once advised Prince Harry not to marry Meghan Markle

However, despite his grandfather’s advice, Harry proposed to Meghan and married her in May, last year. Despite that, the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Edinburgh are still very strong.

Last week, Harry and Meghan wished Philip a happy birthday on his 98th birthday. They posted a photo featuring the couple, their newborn baby, the Queen Prince Philip, and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, during the Queen and Prince Philip’s first time in seeing baby Archie.

Philip was actually one of the first people who had seen the baby. He also made a surprise appearance during the couple’s wedding despite recovering from a hip operation at the time.
