Scarlet Witch will make an appearance in the sequel of Doctor Strange

News24xx.com - Marvel Studios confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will come back for the sequel of Doctor Strange as Stephen Strange. This sequel is titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Another surprised has been revealed. It seems that Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff or Scarlet Witch in Marvel Cinematic Universe will also feature in the film.

“Just announced in Hall H at #SDCC, Marvel Studios’ DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS with Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen. Scott Derrickson returns as director. In theters May 7th, 2021,” read Marvel’s official announcement on Twitter.

According to the announcement, the Doctor Strange sequel will be connected to Marvel’s Disney+ series, WandaVision. This series tells the story of Wanda and Vision (played by Paul Bettany).
