The Siak XIX Regency Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran was officially closed by the Governor of Riau

News24xx.com -  The Siak XIX Regency Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) program that held in Sungai Apit District for a week, was officially closed by the Governor of Riau Drs. H Syamsuar, MS.i on Sunday, July 21, 2019 night.

The event which was centered at Wahid Rahmat Football Field, Apit River village was packed with thousands of Siak people.

In his remarks, the Regent of Siak Alfedri said, "From the series of taaruf parades and opening ceremonies that we carried out some time ago until the closing, everything went well, it can be seen from the high participation and extraordinary welcome from the community of Sungai Apit District," said Alfedri.

He hopes that the event, can to arouse people's interest in reading the Koran.

"As a leader, I invite all of us to constantly study the knowledge of the Koran, especially to understanding and animating the contents of the Koran, both the command and also the prohibition of Allah SWT in the Holy Qur'an so our lives are safe in the world and the hereafter," Alfedri said.

And here are the results of the MTQ championship at the 19th Siak Regency (XIX) level ;

1. Siak District, first general winner
2. Sungai Apit Subdistrict, second general winner
3. Tualang District, third general winner 

For the champion of the Ta'aruf MTQ Parade was won by:

1. District of Sungai Apit, first winner
2. Siak District, second winner
3. Minas District, third winner 

The District Bazar Stand was won by:

1. District of Sungai Apit, first winner
2. Sungai Mempura Subdistrict, second winner
3. Sungai Mandau Subdistrict, third winner

And the Service Environment Bazaar Stand was won by:

1. Youth and Sports Service
2. Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection
