News24xx.com -  National Police along with Indonesian Military (TNI) claimed to have persuasively controlled the public unrest in Fakfak, West Papua. The riot broke out this morning, Wednesday, August 21, at around 09:00 Indonesian Eastern Time (WIT).

The mob put fire in Tumburuni Market and blocked several roads in the region.

“There is a mass movement, they allegedly burn the market and several vital objects,” said National Police spokesperson Insp. Gen. Mohammad Iqbal in his office, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 21.
