A Teacher Clamped Student’s Ear with Stapler

News24xx.com - A fourth grader an elementary school student in the State of Sabah, Malaysia, suffered ear bleeding. The ear is clamped with a stapler by the teacher. The reason is because an unnamed student did not complete the homework assigned by the teacher.

The incident occurred on Saturday (28/9) last week. Reported by Asia One, Tuesday (1/10), the victim's mother learned of the incident when she came to pick up her child.

He saw his child's left ear wounded. After the child told the incident, he then reported it to the nearest police station.

Director of the Sabah State Department of Education, Dr. Misterine Radin, confirmed that she had received a report from a teacher who had injured a student.

"We have received report of a teacher who has injured a student's ear using a stapler for educational reasons," he said in closing the Special Education Teacher Professionalism Course.

The Sabah City Education and Innovation Minister, YB Datuk Dr. Yusof B. Yacob, said the case of using a stapler to bring order to children was unheard of.

He then emphasized that teachers as educators should be able to understand their students' problems and be able to treat them like family members.\
