Deepening the Understanding of Children's Rights, DPPPAPPKB Siak Holds Training on the Convention on the Rights of the Children

SIAK- The Convention on Rights (CRC) training is conducted to provide trained human resources and understand the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in full so that they can develop policies and strategic steps in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Siak Regency.

Secretary of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning in Siak Regency, Ulfa Hanum, said the training will be held for four days, November 18-21, 2019 at the Grand Royal Siak Hotel.

Meanwhile, Zulfikri S. Sos as Expert Staff in the Government, Law and Politics of Siak Regency when opening the CRC Training, in his speech said the purpose of the 2019 Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), Monday (11/18/2019).

The CRC also aims to increase the capacity of policy makers regarding the meaning and implementation of the substance of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) into development policies, programs and activities and the objectives of the CRC training, and to enhance the stakeholders' understanding of the content and implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

"In order to increase the capacity of human resources in the field of protection and fulfillment of children's rights, the development of strategic steps in implementing the fulfillment of children's rights is based on the contents of the CRC," he said.

"This CRC training is intended so that participants of the CRC understand the basis / philosophy, principles and contents of the CRC, and are also able to apply children's rights in policies, programs and training activities to change knowledge, attitudes and behavior in each institution," he added.

In addition, the trainer is expected to be able to implement the Convention on the Rights of the Child, by increasing the capacity of human resources in the field of protection and fulfillment of children's rights, developing strategic steps in the implementation of fulfilling children's rights based on the contents of the CRC.
