Central Government Awards PPS Members Who Died during 2019 Simultaneous Elections in Bengkalis

News24xx.com - The Central Government gave awards to PPS who contributed to the 2019 Concurrent Election for Bengkalis Regency. The award was given to PPA members in the village of Batu Panjang, Rupat District, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 yesterday.

The award is given directly on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs representing the central government. Where the central government is grateful for Zainal's dedication as a PPS member when holding the 2019 Election and also mourning Zainal's death while carrying out election tasks.

Zainal is dedicated to the success of the election to the point of illness and death. The award was handed over directly by one of the KPU commissioners Anggi Ramadhan, Wednesday in Rupat District, Batu Panjang.

In that case, Anggi delivered the award directly to Zainal's house, and was welcomed by Zainal's wife. "We leave it to his heirs, which are accepted by the late wife of Zainal," he said.

According to him, the implementation of the 2019 elections in Bengkalis in general went smoothly. This cannot be separated from the role of the organizer up to the level of PPS.

"For Bengkalis district, there are several organizers who died during the election. So far, only one award has been received by his party and delivered directly to his heirs," he said.

"If there will be another award from the Ministry of Home Affairs, we will convey it directly to the heirs, as a form of our appreciation," he concluded.
