In this activity, all Customs and Excise members received guidance and knowledge about shooting procedures and weapon characteristics from Kodim 0314 / Inhil Seka Zen Alianus members, starting with weapons M.16.A-1, SS-1 V. 3, and customs organic weapons and excise and order in the firing range in detail.

Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal through Pasi Ops Kodim 0314 / Inhil Captain Inf Tarmizi who was accompanied by Pasi Intel Kodim 0314 / Inhil Captain Inf Zainuar S said, the exercise was conducted to establish TNI synergy with Customs and Excise as well as Gathering between Inf Tarmizi and government agencies and also to train the ability to shoot members of the Customs and Excise as a basic provision in carrying out their duties.

"Shooting practice is very big risk if we do not obey the rules or do not follow the instructions of the trainer, moreover the members of customs and excise are still relatively new in service," said Pasi Ops.

He hoped that the activity would be useful to improve the ability of customs and excise members and to know the extent of their members' shooting abilities.

Meanwhile, the Head of Tembilahan Customs and Excise, Anton Martin thanked Dandim 0314 Inhil for giving permission to carry out shooting exercises in Makodim 0314 / Inhil.

"We thank Dandim 0314 / Inhil and all members of Kodim 0314 / Inhil who have been willing to foster and guide us," he said.

He added, in addition to carrying out shooting exercises, members of the Customs and Excise also wanted to stay in touch with all members of Kodim 0314 / Inhil as well as permission to report on weapons owned.

"We want to be more synergized with the TNI, given the recent riots in Papua. Rioters are aiming at weapons that are under the government's intention to be weak," he added.
