News24xx.com - For the sake of community unity and cohesiveness, the Chairperson of the Riau DPRD Honorary Body (BK), Sukarmis attended the direct lane of Kopuang Sentajo Island Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency (Kuansing), Wednesday, January 8, 2020 last night.

On that occasion, Sukarmis stated, he deliberately came directly to the village, after his work visit as a member of Riau DPRD to Batam. "This is a form of love for the people of Desa Kopuang," he said.

"Moreover, what I have not given to this village, that's why he asked, that the community is always compact in various ways, including facing the upcoming election," he added.

Sukarmis revealed, when he led Kuansing, how many residents of Kopuang Island could work, either as honorary or freelance workers.

"Now that the government has gone into the hands of others, unemployment has increased, a wave of layoffs has occurred, and the economy of the community has been sluggish," he said.

"Therefore, be compact, and let's recapture the top leadership of Kuansing, to restore Kuansing's spirit and wealth," he said.

Separately, Kades Kopuang Island, Jon Parmas admitted, the development and growth of his village thanks to the touch of cold hands Sukarmis. "We convey our appreciation and thank you, to Pak Sukarmis and his family and Sentajo Raya figures," he added.

"We are ready to unite for the future, under the command and direction of Sukarmis. Where the wind direction says, we will participate, and we, residents of Kopuang Island, do not want to be torn to shreds by momentary interests," he said.

In fundraising for the Kopuang Island Village Path, which was named 'Dubalang Penghulu Rajo Kopuang Island', funds amounting to IDR 54 million.
