Fortunately, all reporters who became passengers on the ship were reported safe. Previously, the group of journalists had previously covered President Joko Widodo's working visit in Labuan Bajo, NTT.

Based on information from the West Manggarai Regency BPBD, Agus said, the sinking event occurred today, Tuesday (21 January 2020) at around 12:20 p.m. West Indonesia Time.

"Information on sinking ships in Labuan Bajo really happened. The location of the sinking ship is close to Bidadari Island, Labuan Bajo," Agus said through his written statement on Tuesday (21 January 2020).

According to information received by BNPB, all passengers and crew (ABK) certainly survived.

"The cause of the incident is likely due to high waves," he said.

At this time, continued Agus, BPBD was coordinating with SAR and other relevant agencies.
