KUANSING- The Kuansing Government welcomed the establishment of a Village-Owned Enterprise. Because one of the goals is to help the welfare and economy of rural communities.

 

Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, has established a Bumdes named "Sumber Berkah", inaugurated the establishment and Launched by Sentajo Raya Sub-District Head, Akhyan Armofis, S. Sos. The inauguration of Sumber Berkah BumDes is located in the yard of the Office of the Head of Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District on Wednesday (1/22).
 

Head of Sentajo Raya Sub-District, Akhyan Armofis, in his speech expressed his gratitude and appreciation, to the Government of Koto Sentajo Village who conducted the Launching of Sumber Berkah Bumdes.

According to him, the purpose of BumDes is to improve the village economy, increase original village income, improve village potential management in accordance with community needs, and become the backbone of village economic growth and equity.

 

"The establishment and management of a Bumdes is an embodiment of the Village Economic Production Management, which is carried out by Co-operative, Participatory, Emancipative, Transparency, Accountable and Sustaniabel," he explained.

Therefore, he said, it is very necessary to make serious efforts to make Bumdes management run independently, effectively, efficiently and professionally. "It is expected that the Director of BumDes and its members, to always innovate for the development of this BumDes," he said.

"He also really hopes for the role of the Village Head and Chair of the BPD, to always supervise and monitor the development of BumDes for the sake of our progress together," he hoped.
