Reporting from Xinhua, deputy head of the National Center for National Biotechnology Development under the Ministry of Science and Technology said that scientists "unanimously" suggested that the drug could be included in the next version, as well as being a treatment guideline and applied in wider clinical trials as soon as maybe.

Chloroquine Phosphate itself seems to have been used for more than 70 years.

Now the drug has taken clinical trials in more than 10 hospitals in Beijing, as well as in South China's Guangdong Province and Hunan Province in central China.

And from these clinical trials, the drug Chloroquine Phosphate has shown good efficacy.
