Hotels and Tourism Objects Must Be Managed by Third Parties, Discussion on Draft Regional Regulation Is Currently Underway

KUANSING- Deputy of the Kuantan Singingi District Legislative Council, Riau Province, Zulhendri, ST, said that hotels, modern-based markets and tourism objects in Kuantan Singingi are managed by third parties or investors.

"To manage Hotels, Modern Based Markets and Tourism Objects in Kuantan Singingi at this time, it should be managed by private parties and investors and not managed by the Regional Government itself," he explained.

Because, he said, if the regional government manages it, of course it will be difficult. For example, about the budget, because it takes a very large cost, have Human Resources (HR) or a professional / expert in their field.

Therefore, we want that going forward, the Regional Government will no longer need to take care of it, but it must already be submitted to a third party or investor, or to establish a BUMD.

Regarding this matter, at present his party together with 35 Members of the Kuansing Regional Legislative Council, are currently discussing the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) of BUMD along with their Equity Participation.

"Right now there are four Regional Regulation Draft Regional Regulation that will be discussed soon, namely Regional Regulation on SOTK Separation, Regional Regulation on Formation of Disaster Management Agency, Regional Regulation on RT / RW and Regional Regulation on Regional Ownership and Equity Participation," he said.

 

Actually there are nine Regulation Draft  that will be discussed soon this year, but the available budget is only for six Ranperda only. "Of course we find it difficult and have to choose which one should take precedence, or push it right to become a local regulation," he said. (R24 / Zar)
