PELALAWAN- The Community Alliance for Justice (AMUK) in Pelalawan Regency questioned the graduation standard for the selection of village counterparts by the Pelalawan District Community Empowerment Office in 2020.

"First, we appreciate the District Government who has openly opened the selection of village counterparts in 2020," said AMUK coordinator Joni Afrizal, at the Pelalawan DPMD office, on Thursday (2/27/2020).

However, according to AMUK, he questioned the standard size of the Pelalawan DPMD in accepting and graduating participants.

"For example, there are participants who have become honorary staff at the government office. This should have been an evaluation during administrative selection," said Jhoni.

Moreover, he said, the honorary worked in the Department. Later when working in the village, automatically the work in the office must be abandoned.

There were also participants who graduated, who had previously been village assistants. However, at that time he stopped, or was dismissed as a village assistant.

"This should be an evaluation material as well. People who have been assisted, then stop, then register, and be passed," asked Joni in disbelief.

The Pelalawan District Community Empowerment Service opened the Village selection, a few weeks ago. Today, DPMD announced 43 participants who passed, and 18 reserves. (R24 / Ardi)
