The scientist from the United States successfully tested birth control pills for men

News24xx.com -  The Los Angeles Research and Development University successfully tested birth control pills for men. 

As reports from Eurek Alert, the drug was tested on 40 healthy volunteers. 

Men took one tablet per day. The drug significantly reduces the level of testosterone in the blood, and does not cause deterioration of health.

Only six subjects had fatigue, headache and acne. Five participants experienced a decrease in libido, two - slight erectile dysfunction. 

In general, birth control pills for men did not cause serious side effects compared to female contraceptives.

The drug is expected to be sent for clinical trials. If successful, the drug may soon enter the market.
