Pekanbaru City Government Receives 1,200 Corona Rapid Test Assistance and 17,000 Masks from 2 Chinese Community Groups

News24xx.com - Pekanbaru City Government received the assistance of 1,200 rapid test instruments (the results of rapid tests detecting antibodies) corona virus and 17,000 masks in two Chinese community groups. Not only that, the Pemko Pekanbaru also received 9 gallons of disinfectant liquid, mineral water, and hand washing equipment.

Pekanbaru Mayor Firdaus when receiving assistance from two Chinese community groups in the Public Service Mall (MPP) page, Thursday (2/4/2020), said assistance was received from the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation and the Indonesian Chinese Family Clan Community (PSMTI) Pekanbaru. Assistance received in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) for officers as well as hand washing equipment and disinfectant liquid. This assistance will be used by health workers, security officers, and officers from the 2019 corona virus disease task force (covid-19). Previously, Pekanbaru City Government also received hand washing equipment for the plenary mosque.

"Let's together make a move. We fight and break the chain of the spread of the corona virus in Pekanbaru to save our families," he said.

The same opportunity, PSMTI Pekanbaru advisor Robin Eduar said, his party donated 9 gallons of disinfectant liquid and hand washing equipment for Pemko Pekanbaru. It has ordered 10,000 city masks to be donated to Pekanbaru City Government.

"We are also ordering masks. Masks are currently very difficult to obtain," he said.

Meanwhile, volunteers from the Buddhist Tzu Chi Mawie Wijaya Foundation said that they donated 1,200 rapid test kits. This tool is needed right now.

"We also donated 7,000 masks and mineral water. Hopefully this will benefit us all," he hoped.
