As the virus pandemic grew, Pakistan's major cities plunged into closure, forcing many shops to close. One pet seller was seen feeding the cat outside his closed shop.

The animals are seen still alive in the corner of Karachi's vast Consort Market. They were rescued by activists who appealed to the authorities to get access to save them.

Resident Ali Khurshid feeds stray dogs on the street. He played with stray dogs before feeding them on the road near Clifton beach.

The animals were just left behind when major cities in Pakistan made a lock. Hundreds of caged cats, dogs and rabbits were also found dead at an animal market. The market was known to close quickly when coronavirus spread.
