A strong forest fire rages on the federal highway in Transbaikalia

News24xx.com - An eyewitness captured video of a flame that came close to the federal highway - the shots were taken on Wednesday night, May 13, in the Karymsky district of the Transbaikal Territory.

The record shows that the forest burns over a large area in the immediate vicinity of the motorway. Drivers driving along this section of the road noted that in some places, smoke restricts visibility.

At least 84 people are involved in extinguishing the fire, 14 pieces of equipment are involved, this WAS reported by the media, with reference to the regional Ministry of Natural Resources.
