Not Fear of Corona Again; Japanese Citizens Attend a Performance in Tokyo, The Results 30 People Tested Positive Covid-19

News24xx.com - Tokyo was recently hit by another outbreak when a Japanese production event, 'The Jinro', was confirmed to be the source of at least 20 positive cases. The show was held for six days at the Shinjuku Moliere Theater and the first infection was detected among one of the cast members on July 6, according to Reuters.

800 people who attended the show have been identified as high-risk contacts. They were urged by Rise Communication Co., the operator for this event, to seek immediate medical assistance to prevent further spread of the virus.

On July 12, it was confirmed that 16 cast members, five staff members, and nine guests tested positive, totaling up to 30 cases. Investigations are currently being carried out by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to find out whether precautions are taken to organize such events.
