The marijuana case by Elon Musk has violated the policy of Tesla

News24xx.com -  After smoking a marijuana which was broadcast live on YouTube, Elon Musk was hit by many problems.

Elon was considered to have violated Tesla's code of ethics and business policy. 

As quoted from CNBC on Saturday, Sept. 8 2018,  Tesla's code of ethics and business explained that employees were prohibited from working under conditions of drugs or alcohol. And consumption of illegal drugs and alcohol is also prohibited in the work environment.

In the United States have legalized marijuana use. But under US federal law, marijuana use is still illegal.

In the 2.5-hour interview, Elon and Rogan have a discussing about various topics ranging from artificial intelligence, electric aircraft, to sustainable energy.

Besides sucking marijuana, Elon was also seen drinking whiskey directly from a large bottle.

Elon can be said to represent Tesla as CEO in the interview. By smoking marijuana and drinking whiskey, Elon is said to be under the influence of marijuana and alcohol while working.

Previously, Elon had sent an email to The Guardian publication about Tesla's policy regarding marijuana use. 

"Our policy allows a number of marijuana, during working hours, provided they are below the minimum limit," Elon said.
