Exhibition inspired by Totoro picture book held in Ghibli studio in Japan

News24xx.com - Ghibli Museum is home to works of famous animation studios. After animator Isao Takahata passed away, Ghibli Museum will hold an art exhibition inspired by Totoro picture book.

The picture book entitled 'Totoro no UmaretaTokoro' or in means 'Totoro Birthplace'. His book focuses on the deep relationship between Miyazaki and Tokorozawa.

In his book there are also illustrations drawn by Hayao Miyazaki and his wife who is also an animator named Akemi Miyazaki. "All the best sketches and drawings from 'My Neighbor Totoro' and tresults of interviews by Hayao Miyazaki" wrote the statement as quoted by Anime News Network, Wednesday, September 5th 2018.

Later at the exhibition, which will open on September 12th, will present Akemi sketches and drawings that do not appear on the book.
