Head of DPP Pekanbaru, Ingot Ahmad Hutasuhut, said that the price of basic foods at the beginning of the week was usually down. "In the beginning of the week all of the supply is still a lot. So the price was relatively cheaper. Later, if the stock had run out, it would start to rise again" he said.
