Poor father works as a taxi driver to search for his daughter that missing in 23 years ago

News24xx.com - Parents would do anything for their children. When a couple welcomes a child, their lives automatically change. Parents begin to share their lives with their children, and ultimately sacrificing everything for them.

 

And yes, the most painful thing for a parent is to lose their children.

Wang Mingquing and his wife were fruit vendors in Chengdu, China. Together with their little daughter, the couple would sell along the sidewalk to earn money for the entire family.

But tragedy struck one day, when dozens of customers flocked the couple to buy their produce.

When they busy with to serve the customers, both parents didn’t notice that their daughter was no longer beside them.

That was the first day she went missing.

 

For Wang, the best way to find her was to become a taxi driver and ask his passengers if they have seen her.

Sadly, things didn’t turn out the way he wanted. 23 years after his daughter went missing, he still works as a taxi driver, but was never successful in actually finding her.

Hopefully, with his story going viral, somebody who has seen his daughter would step up and help the heartbroken couple.

When asked if there was anything he wanted to say to his daughter, he said this:

“I’m sorry, I didn’t live up to my responsibilities as a father.”
