News24xx.com -  The White House revoked access to the CNN chief correspondent for the White House, following the reporter's fierce "quarrel" with President Trump at a news conference on Wednesday.

According to the White House press secretary, Sarah Sanders, this was done because the reporter, Jim Acosta, "was rude to a young woman."

Jim Acosta said, Sarah Sanders' accusation was' a lie. '

In the press conference, Donald Trump called CNN reporter Jim Acosta "a rude and horrible person."

At that time, a White House staff member tried to take the microphone that was being used by Jim Acosta, the CNN reporter.

Jim Acosta questioned Donald Trump's previous statement about the caravans of migrants from Central America heading to the United States.

A female staff member then tried to take the microphone from Acosta.

"Already. That's enough," the president said to Acosta, before telling him to sit down and put down the microphone.

"CNN should be ashamed of themselves, because you work for them," he said. "The way you treat Sarah Huckabee (Sanders) is terrible."

Sarah Sanders said in a statement posted on Twitter that the White House "will never tolerate reporters who are rude to a young woman who is just trying to do her job".

"The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employees behave is more than disgusting: it is an example of their outrageous disrespect for all people, including young women working in this government," he said.
