One of the rare autoimmune diseases that should be watched out for is Sjogren's syndrome. Sjogren's syndrome is an immune system disorder which is identified by two of the most common symptoms. These two symptoms include dry eyes and mouth.

Sensations such as burning eyes and itching are certain things that appear in people who have this syndrome. Added with dry mouth which makes someone difficult for someone to swallow, or even talk. Citing from Mayo Clinic journal, this condition is often accompanied by other immune system disorders such as arthritis and lupus.

Sjogren's syndrome can affect people of any age. It's just that women at the age of 40 years and over are vulnerable to the attack of this syndrome. In addition, this syndrome is also common in people with rheumatism.
