News24xx.com -  Researchers are increasingly exploring important studies about the consequences of climate change on male fertility. Are things that are the potential causes of extinction and reduced biodiversity, also threatening humans?

Men have long been aware of the threatening danger if they too often allow their reproductive organs to be exposed to high temperatures. For example, by sitting too long while holding a laptop, or sitting in a high-temperature sauna, and pocketing a hot cellphone. A recent study shows, due to climate change, extinction threatens certain species. What about the human species?

When daily threats to reproductive organs can be fought with common sense, how can we avoid the dangers in a world that is getting warmer due to climate change?

In July 2018, Alan Barreca, an environmental economist from the University of California published a study showing that drastic changes in temperature related to climate change caused a reduction in the number of births, even though sexual activity increased in the summer.

His study was based on data on the number of births and climate for 80 years in the US. His study confirmed, more babies were born between August and September (nine months after winter). While the number of babies that begin to be conceived in summer is less, due to high temperatures.

Researchers estimate, how often and how high the temperature of a heat wave, will accelerate the decline in fertility. Due to climate change, high temperatures and heat waves will be more frequent.
