News24xx.com - Attack on skin cancer is getting more aggressive. The global analysis report shows that deaths from skin cancer are increasing rapidly in men.

Death to Adam is also higher than in women. This is suspected because men are less concerned with looking after their skin than women.

The report revealed that there were more deaths from melanoma skin cancer compared to women in 33 countries over the past three decades. Deaths in women tend to be stable and some show a decline.

The study presented at the NCRI Cancer Conference, Glasgow was focused on 33 developing countries in Europe, North America, and Australia that have complete data.

"Over the past 30 years the trend of deaths from melanoma has increased in many countries. There is evidence that men do not protect their bodies from the sun that is thought to cause skin cancer," said lead researcher, Dorothy Yang of the Royal Free London NHS Goindation Trust, to CNN.

Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation is one of the risk factors that cause cancer of melanoma.

Melanoma is the most common type of skin cancer. Noted, as many as 1.7 percent of all types of cancer diagnosed in the world are melanoma skin cancer.

Yang and his team analyzed deaths from skin cancer from 1986 to 2015. In Australia and Slovenia, for example, the highest mortality due to melanoma in men and women occurred in the range of 2013-2015. In Australia, deaths in men reach 5.72 per 100,000 men. Whereas for women it is lower, which is 2.53 per 100,000 women.
