News24xx.com - A 94-year-old patient reportedly buried a needle for 30 years in her body. Quoted from the Daily Mail, the grandmother of Korean descent did acupuncture when she was 64 years old. Acupuncture is performed by leaving the needle permanently under the skin.

At first, she did not feel anything until she fell and felt tremendous pain. After the fall, the grandma whose name was not mentioned came to the division of general internal medicine at the University of Toronto. The doctor then scans her body to find out the injury and determine what therapy have to perform to her. Surprisingly, doctors don't find any injuries on her hips and back.

The doctor then continues to X-rays on her arm which is actually a small risk of injury. However, the results of X-rays give a picture of a needle-like object in the patient's upper arm. Similar images are also obtained on the back in various shapes and sizes. Doctors discussed the results of scanning with the grandma, before knowing the patient's visit to Hari Clinic the place she did acupunture.

Although he fell and there was a needle on her body, the doctor did not find any serious injuries to the grandma. The doctor finally only gave treatment for urinary tract infections, before allowing the grandma to go home.
