Five teenagers were burned during the quest "Escape from the room"

News24xx.com - On January 4, in the Polish city Koszalin, five 15-year-old girls died during a fire while passing an escape-quest in which you need to get out of a locked room for a limited time by solving a series of puzzles. About it reports «The Guardian».

Decision to go to that quest - it was a gift for one of the girls on her birthday. The fire suddenly started into the room, and they could not get out. Firefighters rescued a 26-year-old boy who was allegedly an employee of the questroom. Now doctors are fighting for his life.

Authorities of the city said that, most likely, the cause of the fire was a malfunction of electrical wiring and negligence during security checks. But the exact cause of the fire is not yet known.

The city declared mourning. President Andrzej Duda expressed his condolences on Twitter.

As a result of the fire, fire safety inspections were initiated throughout the country of similar type facilities. The fire service complains that the openning of such attractions does not require their consent.
