Several corrupted cases detected, DJI lost up to USD 150 million

News24xx.com - DJI Technology Co. Ltd., the world's largest producer of drones which based in China, was caught several serious corruption cases committed by its own employees. Quoted from Reuters, corruption is very detrimental to the company. Estimated, DJI lost up to USD 150 million.

DJI, which has the head office in Shenzhen, said they revealed the case when conducting a quality control in 2018. Some cases have been submitted to the authorities. "DJI firmly condemns any form of corruption and has made a high level anti-corruption task force for further investigation and strengthening our anti-corruption efforts" said the DJI.

A report from the China Securities Journal said that more than 40 DJI employees were questioned regarding to the corruption cases. "Some of these corruption cases have been handed over to the police and some employees have been fired" they added.

DJI is recorded to employ 12 thousand employees at the end of 2018 and it is expected to increase to 14 thousand by the end of 2019. The corruption cases of employees at Chinese companies not only happen on DJI. Earlier this month, online taxi company DidiChuxing announced the dismissal of 80 employees because of corruption.
