News24xx.com - After all the confusion, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and North Korea's supreme leader, Kim Jong-un, will meet again at the end of February. The White House announced plans for this meeting after Trump met with North Korea's number two person, Kim Yong-chol, in Washington on Friday, January 18th 2019.

"President Donald J. Trump met Kim Yong-chol for an hour and a half to discuss denuclearization and the second meeting will be held at the end of February" White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said. Continuing her statement, Sanders said, "The president is very much looking forward to meeting Kim at a place that will be announced later."

Although the follow-up meeting between the two leaders finally came to certainty, a number of observers still questioned differences of opinion between the US and North Korea regarding the meaning of nuclear disarmament which has been the subject of discussion. In Kim and Trump's first meeting in Singapore in the middle of last year, the two agreed to carry out denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.

The US considers denuclearization means North Korea disarms all nuclear weapons. However, North Korea insists that they will not disarm their weapons if the US continues to provoke them, including giving them sanctions. Meanwhile, Trump repeatedly stressed that the US would never revoke sanctions on North Korea if Kim did not disarmed his nuclear weapons.
