Brazilian national museum held its first exhibition since the fire incident

News24xx.com - The Brazilian National Museum has risen again from a severe fire incident that occurred a few months ago. This time, the museum held an exhibition for the first time since the incident. The exhibition featured fossil findings in Antarctica on display at the Palace of the House, part of the Brazilian National Museum, since Monday, January 14th 2019.

The fossils on display are part of the pterodactyl. The museum said the findings were the first evidence of a giant reptile species from the Jurassic era found on the Earth's southernmost continent. Fossil bones and a number of other findings on display have undergone a number of studies on the fires of September 2nd, 2017 and destroyed most of the collections of the National Museum.

From this devastating incident, eight pieces were found from the rubble of the museum. In the exhibition which displayed 160 pieces of fossils which must be arranged using other fossils collected from other regions. The director of the Brazilian National Museum, Alexander Kellner, told the media that the exhibition was "great evidence that the museum is still alive and operating with existing goods."

The National Museum of Brazil which has been established since 200 years ago is the main natural history museum in the Latin American region and is known as the department of paleontology and place fo 26 thousand pieces of fossils.
